The American Cancer Society A Shining Light of Hope event is an opportunity to pay it forward so other cancer patients and their caregivers have an opportunity to also utilize the Hope Lodge facilities. Last year, the Iowa City Hope Lodge was able to provide 15,640 nights with a savings of $1,564,000 for families affected by cancer; $91,000 of which benefited Clinton County residents.
