DeWitt Parks and Recreation in partnership with Scheckel Dance Instruction are excited to offer adult Swing dance lessons beginning Thursday, November 8th. What a perfect time to join other couples enjoying the fun of dancing and learning some new moves. Whether you think you can dance or not, Dennis and Sandy will help you reach your dancing goals and have a great time doing it. The Swing steps that will be taught are appropriate for music provided at a variety of venues such as clubs, weddings, blues festivals, big band dances and 50’s & 60’s performances. Proper dance technique, frame, posture and beat identification will be covered. No dance experience required. Hard soled shoes are recommended and a partner is suggested, but not required.
