A live Zoom chat with Author Kate Messner! All Iowa Reads was established in 2003, by the State Library of Iowa to foster a sense of unity through reading. Iowans are encouraged to come together in their communities to read and talk about the selected books. The kids selection for 2026 is "The Trouble with Heroes" by Kate Messner!
