Balanced Bookshelf

The Balanced Bookshelf is an innovative Iowa 4-H program that supports the development of wellness and literacy skill for children. This informal education program teaches children fundamental concepts of healthy living, including growth mindset, confidence, self-care, positive decision-making, physical activity, and nutrition, through integrated literacy activities that focus on character building and physical wellness. Program is for kindergarten - 3rd graders. Partnership with the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for Clinton County.
