There is an art and science to great conversations. Join Dr. Dan Ebener to hone your skills to connect with others on a deeper level.
Despite the changing world of social media, cell phones, laptops and artificial intelligence, face-to-face conversations are still the best form of human interaction. They enable us to connect with others at a deeper level, engage friends and foes in dialogue, resolve conflicts, make decisions, develop teams and build relationships based on trust and collaboration.
Yet we spend little time learning how to conduct ourselves in these conversations. This workshop will draw from books like Conversational Intelligence, Crucial Conversations, Humble Inquiry and Mindful Listening, in distilling the art and science of conversations.
Participants will practice one-on-one conversations with each other, and will be invited to conduct a one-on-one conversation in front of the entire group, providing them with the opportunity to receive feedback from the group.
Registration includes lunch.
