Retreat leader is Dr. Sarah Rissler. As the world often feels smaller with technology in nearly every space in our lives, and with people able to move and travel all over the world, it is useful to explore the ways in which we interact and engage with people and to reflect on our own cultural experiences.

• How might others experience our natural tendencies?
• How might we be experiencing interactions with people in generations different from our own?
• What might we like our children and grandchildren to know and experience in the world around them?

These questions and more will be the basis of exploring cultural responsiveness in our shared lived experiences.
