FHNB is a non profit organization that provides fishing opportunities for people with disabilities. We have been hosting fishing events at Rock Creek for adults for the past 7 years. This year we decided to extend this opportunity to the youth of eastern Iowa. We are hosting a children's FHNB event on June 5th at Lake Malone. Being our first event, and with Covid still lingering, we are keeping the event small. We are looking for 15 participants, ages 5-18 to come fishing for the morning. Each angler will be buddied up with a volunteer fishing buddy that will assist them wherever needed. Parents and/or guardians need to stay with their child during the event as well. The event starts at 9 am and will wrap up around noon.
