This year's Grand Marshall is Habitat for Humanity, featuring Abby Wildes and her three children, who live in the new Habitat House, and Mike Sheil, who was instrumental in helping to build the house.
All entries will meet in the parking lot south and east of Central Community High School; the entrance is on 11th Street, across from DeWitt's United Church of Christ. Line-up starts at 8:20. Please have your entry decorated with a Fourth of July theme.
The parade route is as follows:
West on 10th Street
Left on 6th Avenue
Left on 7th Street
Left on 4th Avenue
Right on 8th Street
Return to the high school parking lot
You may throw candy or hand out items.
No registration, no fees, no prizes. You show up; we tell you where to go.
You will find parade staff members wearing red shirts who will direct you.
