Grow Clinton, in collaboration with IowaWORKS and the Clinton Public
Library will host the IowaWORKS Mobile Unit on Wednesday, October 30th in the Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center parking lot from noon until 3pm. This event is in conjunction with an IowaWORKS Workforce Services event which will be held on the second floor of the Clinton Public Library (306 – 8th Ave. South, Clinton, IA) providing career services including, mock interviews, resume creating, job searching tips, and virtual reality (VR headsets) career exploration. Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation will also be onsite to answer any questions about navigating employment for people with disabilities.
The IowaWORKS mobile bus comes equipped with ten computer workstations where IowaWORKS staff will be able to assist with job searches and navigating unemployment claims. You can't miss it!
Those in attendance will be entered to win River City Gold (redeemable at all GrowClinton member businesses) from Grow Clinton.
