JUNE IS DAIRY MONTH
In 2009, the Jackson/Clinton County Dairy Association held it's first Lunch on the Dairy Farm in Clinton County. Each year we have held this event at a different dairy farm in one of the two counties. A free picnic style lunch is served which includes milk and ice cream. This event gives people in our community the opportunity to come to the country and see just where these quality products are made, and meet the people behind the products. We have lots of activities for kids, including games and a petting zoo.
The Lunch on the Dairy Farm event averages 1200+ each year. This event continues to be a huge success each year because of the generous donations we receive from the businesses in our community.
