MVPA (Military vehicle preservation association) Transcontinental Motor Convoy is coming to DeWitt! A 50 military vehicle convoy will arrive between 4:30-5:30 PM on Thursday, August 22 and parade thru town with a police escort. Parade route: Parade route will start at Central DeWitt High School. Head west on 11th St, turn south on 5th Ave, turn west 10th St, turn south on 6th Ave, turn east on 8th St to the fairgrounds. Streets will not be closed. Vehicles will be on display at the Clinton County Fairgrounds after 5:30. DeWitt Nite Lions will be serving pork chop sandwiches and hot dogs from 5-7:30.
