Join us on June 18th to celebrate 35 years of the Paul Skeffington Memorial Race sponsored by Guardian Industries!

We hope you'll join us on Saturday, June 18th for this year's 35th annual event taking place in DeWitt, Iowa. This family community event offers a kid's fun run, 2-mile walk/run, 5-mile run and a community-wide after-party celebration, there is something for everyone! And as always, the proceeds from the event are used to fund community parks and recreation projects, provide college scholarships to area seniors, donations to local non-profits and much more! 

Race Day Information
This year, our kids' fun run will take place at 5:30 pm. The kids' will receive a free ice cream cone from Cups & Cones! They will also have their name in a drawing to win a bicycle! 

Our 2mi/5mi race will take off at 6:00 pm! Registration fee for the race is $30 and includes a t-shirt (guaranteed shirt only if registered by June 1).  All 2 and 5 mile participants will receive a free meal in addition, runners 21 and over will receive a free beverage from our beer garden!

Packet Pick-Up
Friday (June 17th) & Saturday (June 18th) from 4:30 - 5:45 pm at the DeWitt Community Center

Community-Wide After-Party
The community event will include live music, sponsored by Custom-Pak, DTM, Subway, and Dairy Queen. The Wild Oatz Band will perform from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be a beverage garden, sponsored by Scott Drug, J&L Lawn Care, Black Cat Wear Parts, Nordlock Group, Manatts & Wendling Quarries. The Nite Lions will be grilling up pork chops! All are welcome. Bring your lawn chair and join us for the Paul Skeffington Memorial Race on Saturday, June 18, 2022!
