Author Joy Beirne was a Christian Educator for 15 years and an Elementary School Teacher. She has taught parenting workshops on Fearless Parenting and Children's Motivational Gifts. Her passion is to teach biblical truths that help families grow in the power and security of love, forgiveness and trust. Joy and her husband have three grown children.
Joy's book, "Raising Powerful Children in a Broken World" will be the theme of her presentation. A lot of books offer advice on how to parent children - this book teaches why. When you understand the 'why', you can parent with faith, rather than with fear of making mistakes.
