For women, too. Learn about your career opportunities by attending Women in Manufacturing on Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Blong Technology Center, 8500 Hillandale Road, in Davenport. It's a free event and includes lunch! 

Explore careers and hands-on activities in:

• CNC Machining 
• Engineering Technology 
• Welding 
• Truck Driving/CDL 

There will also be an industry panel and a resource and job fair. High school students, and people who are unemployed, underemployed, or seeking a career change, are encouraged to attend.
