Dear Stakeholders,
 
The Chief Elected Officials of the Mississippi Valley and South Central Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs) invite you to attend a public stakeholder consultation on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. via Zoom to discuss the proposed merger of the two  LWDBs into a single regional workforce board.
 
This consultation is an opportunity for community members, service providers, employers, education partners, and other stakeholders to:

  • Learn about the reasons for the proposed merger
  • Review the proposed transition plan and timeline
  • Provide feedback before formal submission to the State Workforce Development Board
We welcome your input as we work together to ensure a strong and sustainable workforce system that continues to meet the needs of our region.
