The Mississippi Valley Workforce Development Board (MVWDB) is seeking proposals from qualified independent public accounting firms to perform a Single Audit in compliance with the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996, the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200, Subpart F), and applicable federal and state regulations. The MVWDB operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit local workforce development board under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The audit will cover the program year ending June 30, 2024 and include an examination of federal WIOA funds administered by the Board. Spanning eight counties in Iowa—Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Muscatine, Louisa, Lee, Des Moines, and Henry—the MVWDB provides comprehensive Workforce Development Services.
