WORK LOCATION: Hiring for Eastern Iowa Community Colleges - Muscatine Career Advancement Center, Clinton Career Advancement Center, DeWitt Career Advancement Center and Belmont Campus
Days: Monday-Friday daytime hours, Part-Time variable hours (contact us to express interest and your availability)

Required Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Career Technology Education
1. The minimum requirement is an associate's degree or a related field or 6000 hours of tested experience. Possess a baccalaureate degree or higher in healthcare related field, or possess a baccalaureate degree in any area of study if at least 18 of the credit hours completed were in the career and technical field of instruction in which the instructor teaches classes.

2. Possess an associate degree in the career and technical education field of instruction in which the instructor is teaching, if such degree is considered terminal for that field of instruction, and have at least 3,000 hours of recent and relevant work experience in the occupational area or related occupational area in which the instructor teaches classes.

3. Have special training and at least 6,000 hours of relevant tested experience in the occupational area or related occupational area in which the instructor teaches classes if the instructor possesses less than a baccalaureate degree in the area or related area of study or occupational area in which the instructor is teaching classes and the instructor does not meet the requirements of subparagraph 24.5(1)"a"(2)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• This position generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
• Requires the ability to sit or stand in a classroom during extended instructional periods.
• May require pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• May require standing for extended period of time to perform work responsibilities with regular walking.


Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing instruction in Math for Healthcare. Teach approved curriculum and course work.
