Job Description
This position is responsible for development and delivery of quality Industrial Maintenance training to business and industry within the EICC district.

This position would use experiences in the industrial or manufacturing fields, to teach to others. Lots of opportunities with EICC in the manufacturing or industrial roles – let’s connect to see if we have a placement and please ask questions you may have.

Required Qualifications

 

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Successful candidate must possess exceptional communication and organization skills.
  • Manufacturing background.
 
Preferred Qualifications
NOT REQUIRED, but may be beneficial to this role to have this education and/or experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Industrial Maintenance training experience.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered
Physical Demands

 

  • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and job specific tools
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds to a height of three feet
  • Perform all normal and expected duties of a skilled trade
  • Lifting, kneeling, squatting, climbing, crawling, stooping, turning/twisting, balancing, reaching and handling with varying frequencies
  • Frequent lifting and carrying, pushing, or pulling objects
 
Salary Starting salary depends on experience. Minimum starting salary of $51,000
Typical Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with EICC team members to create customized contract training programs.
  • Conduct training in Advanced Manufacturing areas of expertise.
  • Participates in the design of appropriate courses and programs of instruction. Utilizes appropriate process to maintain currency of curriculum and collaborates in the development and revision of curriculum as needed.
  • Communicates course objectives, instructional processes, evaluation policies and methods, and attendance policies to students.
  • Evaluates and records student performance and achievement on a regular basis in the district’s learning management system and provides feedback to students.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction via post training follow-up; responsible for resolving services issues that may arise.
  • Must maintain a commitment to providing quality service that meets or exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
