Physical Demands

 

  • Ability to routinely perform the following physical activities as dictated by the sport; run, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand, walk and perform moderate physical activity for extended periods of time, and be able to run to keep up with the pace of the game/play.
  • Work is normally performed in a gymnasium or game field setting with some travel via automobile to/from away matches required.
  • Occasionally required to move or transport (lift) items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Communication skills using the spoken word, discerning and conveying (exchanging) information. Regularly required to use oral communication skills
  • Dexterity sufficient to manipulate objects with fingers, for example operating a computer keyboard.
 
Salary $1700
Typical Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • All NJCAA guidelines will be followed.
  • Assist the head coach in recruiting student/athletes. Attend area high school games and represent CCC soccer program.
  • Assist the head coach in making arrangements for practices. As needed, lead the team through stretching and start practices when head coach advises.
  • Assist the head coach with travel arrangements. Prepare the school vans in preparation for away games including fueling and having ready at departure time. If needed serve as a driver to away games.
  • Serve as game manager. Supervise work study students to set up Your Gym for Soccer matches. Welcome visiting teams and referees. Supervise work study students working as game officials. After match completion supervise work study students tear down of match set up and store equipment as directed.
  • Assist head coach with statistics during games and updating player statistics after each game.
  • Videotaping home games and preparing copies.
  • Washing and cleaning of equipment and uniforms as needed.
  • Promote positive relations within the community in regard to the volleyball program.
  • Attend coaching and athletic meetings as needed.
  • Is committed to providing quality service that meets or exceeds expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
